They see right through us!

The other day I had a touching conversation with a horse and his human. The owner asked him: "Is there anything he thinks I should know?"

To this the horse replied: "I can teach you to be a good herd leader. Look at me” After that he sent a feeling of great care for the other horses, showing me inner images of how he looks after the herd and puts them first. "But I won't burn myself out," he continued.

"You have such great empathy for everyone around you, and always want the best for everyone. Like me. But you burn yourself out. I can teach you how to keep your empathy but at the same time take care of yourself so that you don't get too pressured yourself. I want to teach you that” he concluded.

I had no idea about the owner's situation, to which she says that she has actually recently been fired from her job, where she is the leader of a group of employees. She cares a lot about the well-being of her employees, and was well-liked by her colleagues, but her manager had no patience for her caring for them, and only wanted to see results. That's why she was fired - and she ended up collapsing with stress in the process!

I was really moved by his answer and great insight into his person. Time and time again, it fascinates me how the animals see right through us. How they can understand our life situations, even without ever coming to work, without us knowingly telling them about it, without them living in the world as we do. But they see right through us! Feels our needs and senses our emotions.

His desire to help and teach his human just what she needed touched my heart deeply. How they can read us, how they can put themselves in our place, how they can offer us exactly what we are lacking - this is the purest form of magic.

Science isn't the only truth

I have a degree in biology from the university. I have spent hours reading scientific articles, learning about scientific methods, how to conduct experiments, etc. One of the many things I learned was to be critical of 'science'. We learned that:

1. Science is controlled by money. Research is mostly carried out in areas that could generate money. It is typical that companies themselves sponsor research into things that can promote their product or marketing. There is not a lot of money in animal rights and emotional life, it can only cost us money to learn more about this subject, and force us to make decisive changes for the welfare of animals.

2. You can find articles that completely contradict each other. There will always be some experiments that support one conclusion, and other experiments that speak against the same conclusion. Because by adjusting different variables, using other methods or approaches, you can find different results.

3. Science itself has shown that it is not possible to be objective. That a scientific experiment will be influenced by the person who performs and observes the experiment, and that the experimenter can unconsciously influence the results.

4. Science gets smarter and changes its mind all the time. Just think of how many different diet advices we have all been exposed to. Large, surprising observations are still being made, as recently as 2023 a new organ was found in the human body that we otherwise think we know quite well!

5. Lots of new knowledge is being found, but it is far from always actually used for anything. There is plenty of evidence for the animals' needs and emotional lives, which are in no way fulfilled in production or in everyday life.

Some mistakenly think that I am against science in my profession. I am not at all. I just don't think it can stand alone because there are so many limitations and it goes so incredibly slowly that I feel we have to listen to our gut and notice what also feels true and right to us!

Ud at plukke urter 🙏

Igår brugte ponyerne og jeg en fridag i solskin og fuglefløjt. Masser timer i vores elskede skov. Med taske så vi kunne samle urter på vejen. Målet i går var nye brændenælde skud som skulle være antiinflammatoriske, var vi blevet tippet om!

Det giver så meget mening for mig. At tage hestene med ud for at samle brugbare planter. Lære hvilke planter der er gode for hvad. Hvor de gror henne i naturen. Lade vores lokalmiljø bidrage til vores sundhed. Langsommelighed. Tålmodighed når de skal tørre.

Det giver så meget jordforbindelse at gå blandt planterne - og jeg tror det giver lige så meget mening for hestene som for mig ❤️

The holes inside us

During my time with Chanel, she has had to take on many roles in my life, filled many voids in my inner being. As a child I dreamed of riding her in competitions, because among the horses I felt at home, there was something I was good at. I wanted to experience that feeling of success, so I wanted us to win together.

As a teenager, I felt incredibly lonely in a world where I didn't feel like I fit in. Here Chanel acted as my best friend, who kept me company and participated in the experiences that none of my friends cared about. She became the playmate I missed.

As a young adult, the world was overwhelming and high pressure. I needed a place I could retreat to and be at peace. A place where there were no expectations of me, where I could turn off my thoughts and just be. Chanel became this place of peace for me.

Over the years she has been my therapist. My teacher. My dress up doll. And she has taken on many other roles. To fill a hole inside me. And it is only in recent years that I have focused on filling those gaps for myself. I have come to understand that it is not and never has been her role to fill in these gaps. Because it leaves a lot of pressure on her, and locks her into certain expectations or wishes for our togetherness.

It made it difficult for me to give her space to be herself and let her say yes and no, because I really needed her to give me peace of mind, go on walks, hug me when I was sad or something else. Only when I discovered that could I let her be completely free to be who she is. Completely free to think and act as she wished. Because I no longer needed her for anything, because I no longer longed for anything.

Instead, we could choose each other because we enjoyed each other's company - and nothing else.<3

"My horse still says no to me brushing his legs, and he also clearly says no if I ask if he wants to go out riding - but at the same time he has never been happier." One of my students told me the other day.

She went on to say that for the first time in his life, her horse comes galloping towards her, calls her, takes the initiative during training, chooses to join the riding arena himself and follows her around with his eyes when she is in the yard.

It made me so happy. I think sometimes we misunderstand animals' no thanks. We think it means they are not happy and not thriving. But nothing is further from the truth. Imagine you lived a life where you could never say no to anything you didn't want. Where you could never have an off day. Where you were not allowed to express your innermost feelings. For me, that is dissatisfaction.

When the animals say no thank you, it shows us that they trust that we will listen, that they can feel their own needs and that they feel safe to express them themselves. It is well-being. A no thank you is a sign of health. If the no thank you is persistent and constant, then we have to experiment with what it takes to turn it into a yes thank you. How can we ask the question differently, or ask something else, so that our animals want to join in?

But a no in itself is not a bad sign. It allows us to show our animals that we listen, understand and honor them. It gives us the opportunity to prove that we are worth trusting. That we are a good friend. That we want to collaborate and find joint solutions. And it gives our animals quality of life that they can be co-determinants in their own lives.

The animals can see when we open up!

After the first day of one of my telepathy courses, a student told me that her cat had been behaving strangely. She has a big, fat male cat who is king and owns the whole world. She usually has to call him and when he comes she opens the front door for him, he goes in first and he goes straight to his food bowl and demands food. But this day was different. He was waiting for her at the door which shocked her. And when she opened the door, he didn't go in, he waited for her to enter first. And instead of going straight to the food bowl, he followed her around! As if he said: “What happened to you?! I like that".

The animals can feel as soon as we open up. This is far from the first time my students tell me that their animals have changed their behavior or approach to them after they have been practicing telepathy! Many students report that the animals begin to follow them around. Some animals make contact, nudge them and stare at them intently. Other follow them with their eyes as they pass by. Some animals stop and almost give the elevator look when they spot them!

Even without my students trying to do anything different, change can happen. We have to remember that animals are masters at understanding energy - and they can quickly see when our energy changes. That's why big changes can sometimes happen in our animals when we gain new insights, change our beliefs or approach them with a different intention. Because they sense that we come from a different place inside ourselves!

Just by committing to wanting to learn telepathy or to understand our animals better, big changes happen. Because we open ourselves to the reality of animals. Telepathy is much more than a tool. It is a new way of being in the world, a more empathetic way of meeting the animals, and an equal relationship between us and the animals. And the animals feel with their sensitive minds right away that there is an opening in us and that they can feel, understand and meet us in a completely new way.
